In countries where having a fixed line is either an expensive option or network infrastructure does not exist, the CellRoute can provide fixed line functionality over the GSM network.
CellRoute provides users with high quality voice using EFR (Enhanced Full Rate) codecs.
The CellRoute can be self-installed by the end user, making the provisioning cycle simple and reducing costs for the network operator. The unit has integrated batteries to cater for mains power outages. 11 hours of standby time is provided with a talk time of up to 2 hours.
